"Space of Motion"

In 2020, MOMENT designed the Bridgestone corporate museum, Bridgestone Innovation Gallery. The plan is to renovate one of its rooms into the Motorsport Gallery.　This gallery marks 2023 as a milestone called "TURN" (evolution), showcasing 60 years of motorsports history and a visionary outlook toward the future. The space visually captures the dynamic energy and evolutionary journey of motorsports through sharp beams of light piercing a pitch-black abyss.　Light, symbolizing "TURN (evolution)," cuts through the darkness, while the collection items such as tires and racing suits are displayed in the dark to condense their passionate energy. In this space where light and shadow, stillness and motion coexist in balance, the weight and value of the exhibits are quietly conveyed.　The F1 car and Indy car, symbols of the entrance hall, are arranged with a slight tilt, aligned so that the Bridgestone logo on the rear tires becomes the visual axis. Natural light filtering through the dot art elegantly highlights the forms. The light transitions seamlessly from the clarity of natural light to the depth of shadows in the Motorsport Gallery, weaving together the immersive experience of motorsports.
